About
I didn't start BreakPoint because I saw a market opportunity. I started it because I got tired of watching leadership make consequential decisions in a space they didn't understand — chasing unrealistic profitability metrics, making reactive hiring decisions to force a faster timeline, and placing profits above the people who had entrusted them with their relationships. In this industry, that's not just bad strategy. It's a betrayal.
I worked my way through roofing and restoration from Project Manager to Senior Project Manager, then into national leadership as Director of Multifamily Operations and VP of National Multifamily Accounts. I loved the industry. But the longer I sat at the table, the harder it became to ignore what was happening around me.
Companies were being handed growth plans that looked great on a slide deck and collapsed in the field. As private equity reshaped the industry, relationships built over years were treated like line items — and decisions that once required judgment were being made with a calculator. The result wasn't just operational strain — it was a breakdown of trust with the clients who depended on these companies most. In multifamily, trust isn't a soft metric. It's the business.
